Wordful Wednesday 411: Wordful Wednesday is like Wordless Wednesday, except WITH words. It’s for those of us that just cannot be wordless, no matter how much we try. We just returned home from our annual camping trip in Utah. We meet my side of the family to camp up in the mountains. We ride ATV’s, fish, and do all the fun things that people who camp do.
Our trip starts with a LONG car ride across state lines and a visit to my grandparents and all the great landmarks that I always expect to see when driving into town, like the Manti Temple, and the cemetery across the street where my mom is buried.
The back of my grandparents house is always fun because it’s nothing like the front. It has sheep and vintage gas pumps and old sheds and dwellings that I’d love to go through one day.
Sometimes we even get adventurous and hold a lamb if we can catch one!
And then we camp. I can’t wait to show you the pictures of where we camp. It’s gorgeous up there. Gorgeous.
Join us in our linky AFTER you check out Dude Mom (formerly Parenting by Dummies) and these 4 awesome posts from last week’s linky!
This week we joined the Idea Girl and family at the blueberry farm, celebrated Christmas in July with Heck of a Bunch, got to visit Boston with Better in Bulk, and got down and dirty with the roller derby at Because I’m the Mommy.
Hope it was a good trip. Great shots. The vintage finish on them is very apropos.
Looks just beautiful Angie. Great shots. Glad it was awesome and you got to do this.
Thanks for featuring my post from last week. I love camping so I can’t wait to see those pics. Looks like your grandparent’s house is an interesting place to visit.
How long did it take to catch the lambs?
We go camping too but not in places so interesting as you did! Just plain wooded campgrounds in Michigan.
Hope you had a great time! The trip down looks like it was fun.
i think those are awesome photos….
i would love to go through everything and see what all old treasures are there 🙂
