Watermelon and Mint Infused Water {Recipe}

Have you caught the Infused Water Craze, too?  You can take just about any fruit, herb or vegetable that you like and add to your water for a really wonderful infusion that’s totally your own recipe.  The best part is that making infused water is EASY.  Try mixing your own creations and see what you come up with.  It’s a great way to up your H2O intake in an eye pleasing way and it’s lovely to your taste buds, too!

Watermelon and Mint Infused Water Recipe

  • water
  • small watermelon slices {without rind}
  • mint leaves
  • cubed ice

Add all ingredients to mason jars or glasses and serve immediately.  I’ve seen many recipes on line that recommend infusing overnight.  I personally do not like my water infused over night.  Especially if the recipe calls for citrus.  I find that the fruit and / or vegetables become too water logged and or acidic when infused too long.
