XO Valentine’s Day Mantel

I’m so excited to show you my XO Valentine’s Day Mantel!  Over the past few weeks I have shown you how to make DIY Glitter XO Letters, DIY Pom Pom Garland and last years DIY Burlap LOVE Banner.  I LOVE how it all came together to make a simple and fun Valentine’s Day Mantel that anyone can do!

XO Valentine's Day Mantel

I wanted a simple mantel I could put together quickly with a punch of sparkle!  I decided to go with metallic gold and glitter, which is right on trend.  I absolutely love how it turned out, it’s perfection!

The pom pom wreath I had displayed during Christmas and just swapped out the ribbon to something more festive for Valentine’s Day.  I loved that I could leave out some of my Christmas decor.  {{high fives}}  The paper mache XO letters were a new addition.  I was able to quickly decorate them using this Glitter XO tutorial.  It seriously took about 10 minutes to decorate.  I spent more time waiting for them to dry.

DIY Pom Pom Garland

I knew I had last years burlap LOVE banner to utilize, but wanted to add more texture and color so I made an easy pom pom garland with yarn I already had on hand.

Let me just say I adore mason jar crafts!  You can decorate them to go with almost any style you’re trying to achieve.  I spray painted mine with gold metallic paint and then sprayed a layer of sealer.  (It keeps the gold paint from discoloring if you happen to put fresh flowers in the vase.)  Using the pom pom tutorial I made my own vase of flowers by putting the finished pom pom on a shish kebob stick.  Easy peasy!

Last year’s Burlap LOVE Banner was incorporated on my mantel.  I LOVE the layered look with the pom pom banner.  It accents perfectly with the pom pom and gold glitter decor!

And that’s how I decorated my XO Valentine’s Day Mantel that’s perfect to accent for your Valentine’s Day celebration. Happy Crafting!
