I decided to take my multi-tasking to another level last week and use the self clean option on my oven. It turned out to be a not-so-great idea and I blew my double oven out. It has yet to be fixed, in case you are wondering. {sigh}
For someone that has her days scheduled down to almost the minute, this didn’t work into my plans or my budget. Especially with 7 mouths to feed each night and Thanksgiving on the horizon.
Luckily, I have a husband who researched online and assured me that using the self-clean oven option is almost always the #1 reason for oven failure (oops) and hasn’t complained about dinners that are designed for families that are “on the go”. {smiling}
Like, Tyson Stuffed Mini Bread Bowls. They are the perfect grab and go meal. {{Whether or not your oven is broken!}}
Tyson Stuffed Mini Bread Bowls
They come in two varieties:
- Chicken Bacon Club {we love bacon in these parts}
- Chicken Broccoli Cheese {I like broccoli, a lot}
They are made with 100% all white Tyson chicken, vegetables, savory cheese and bakery fresh bread. They only take 55 seconds to heat in the microwave. Each serving is perfect to hold in the hand and mess free because the filling is wrapped up in the mini bread bowl. No cleanup needed. {{unless of course you have messy kids, which is possible…}}
And, now that we’ve discussed Tyson Stuffed Mini Bread Bowls, let’s talk about schedules.
Mine has been CRAZY this year. Now that all the kids are getting older and #1 is in Junior High there are just all kinds of extra activities that I’m still getting used to like being the team mom for two soccer teams. Soccer practice 3 times a week. Mutual each week for #1. Activity days for #2 twice a month. Playdates at least 3 times a week {because with 5 kids it’s everyone’s turn, which reminds me……}. Homework, homework and more homework. {I swear I never had this much!} Grocery shopping, house cleaning, cooking, volunteering in the kids classes twice a week. Oh, and work. {I work about 16 hours a week, too.} I’m still getting used to the rotating carpool, so I guess I’d better add that to my schedule. I sleep, shower and get dressed somewhere in there each day, as well. Plus I volunteer a lot at my church.
So, you can see why multi-tasking is important and why Tyson Stuffed Mini Bread Bowls are a good option for families like mine!
