    I love your thoughts on friendship. It's so hard being the parent and knowing that you have to step back and watch your kids make the choices for themselves, isn't it?

    My tribute today was something I needed to do. I got some tears out. 🙂

    Great guest post. My step-daughters are of that tender pre-teen age where their mom and I begin to worry hard about the friendships they will forge during these years. I printed your post for her!

    The bird I find cute, but the lizards creep me out. 🙁 Had a traumatic experience pulling a lizard out of our dog's mouth, thinking it was a bone, only to find that it was a lizard without the head!!

    Oh my goodness! I don't know what I would have done with a bird in the house, but I did see one once in the airport!
