It’s Spring Cleaning time which means it’s time to break out the elbow grease. I’m a pretty tidy house cleaner, so my spring cleaning routine calls for deep cleaning areas of my house that need some deep scrubbing action, particularly my stove. This year I decided to try Dollar General cleaning supplies to see how they stacked up to other popular brands in getting my house clean. I was pleasantly surprised, both by the price and the results!
Dollar General has a great selection of cleaning supplies at great prices! I was able to pick up DG Lemon Soap Pads, DG Toilet Bowl Cleaner, and DG Dish Soap all for $1.00 each! DG cleaner with bleach was only $1.85, and a large bottle of DG Disinfectant wipes were only $3.50! {{score}}

Spring Cleaning in the Kitchen
As I mentioned earlier, my Spring Cleaning routine requires some elbow grease. I also realize that the state of my stove is appalling. Don’t judge. Let me just say that I keep my stove clean, it’s just doesn’t look that way. Those “stains” won’t wipe off. They have to be scrubbed off with steel wool. This is something that I save for Spring Cleaning.
I decided to try the DG Home Steel Wool Soap Pads to scrub the nasty mess off of my stove. To tell you the truth, I was a bit skeptical because I had let it get so bad.
All I had to do was wet the pads and scrub. And eventually, my stove looked brand spanking news. Spring Cleaning Miracles do happen, and this one only cost me $1!
I also performed a miracle on my sink with the left over pad. Fabulous, right?
