Safeway Promotes National Dairy Month #SafewayDairy

June has been set aside as National Dairy Month since 1937.  This year, more than 70 years after it’s inception, the celebration of our nations dairy is still going strong, and I’m excited to be a part of the movement to recognize the dairy farmers that bring us the dairy products that help our families grow strong bones.

I (and by extension my family) have partnered with Safeway Stores to help promote National Dairy Month.  What does this mean?  Well, it means that we are embracing the dairy that we love.  We are finding every opportunity to enjoy it as well as learn more about dairy products, including it’s effect on our health and nutrition, AND spread the word about it’s benefits.

How much dairy do you consume?  Is it an important part of your diet?

    Dairy is something that I include in nearly every meal. It’s definitely important to myself and the members of my family. This video was great!

    I’ve been wanting to take Moose to a dairy. This would be a good month to do so. Your kids are precious. And how did they get so big? I’m pretty sure when I started reading the little boys were…well, little boys!

    Well done on the video! You should do Vlogs more often. 😉 I went to a dairy farm when I was eleven (I think) and I remember trying to milk a cow and the calfs who sucked on our hands….LOL. We were kids, so we didn’t gross out easy…it was pretty slimy! haha.
