Are you ready for all the Back to School Bake Sales that you know are on the horizon? {{laughing}} I’ve been collecting recipes like crazy and even creating some of my own! Thanks to #McCormickBakeSale and a little good old fashioned competition, I’ve been baking like crazy.
Virtual #McCormickBakeSale
I am absolutely giddy about McCormick’s virtual bake sale. I’ve teamed up with 35 amazing bloggers and The McCormick Kitchen to bring you this cool concept. Each of us is preparing a brownie or cookie recipe that we’ve tweaked in some way. These aren’t your every day recipes, and I guarantee they’ll knock your socks off. To make things even more interesting, we divided ourselves into teams and are competing against each other to see who can come up with the best recipes as a team. How great is that? As a group we’ll provide you with 36 pinnable recipes that you can make for your bake sales that will fly off your bake sale tables. Guaranteed. 🙂
Here’s how it works: Each of us (36 bloggers) have been split up into 6 teams and we are competing against each other (via our pinnable recipes) using Pinterest as our platform. PLEASE, PLEASE PIN my Raspberry Cream Cheese Frosted Brownie Recipe, AND the recipes from my team members using the hashtag #McCormickBakeSale!!!! Not only will your pins give us votes that will help us win (and make us feel good), it will help YOU WIN too! Scroll Down to Pin to Win!!!
Raspberry Cream Cheese Frosted Brownie Inspiration
A little inspiration goes a long way, and the McCormick Kitchen has inspiration galore in the form of fabulous recipes and tips. My Raspberry Cream Cheese Frosted Brownies were inspired by the McCormick Raspberry Brownies Recipe which looks pretty darn yummy. My Raspberry Cream Cheese Frosted Brownies use a regular Family sized brownie mix for the base and a cream cheese and white chocolate frosting that is flavored with raspberry extract to take it over the top in the yum factor.
Raspberry Cream Cheese Frosted Brownie Recipe
- Family Sized Brownie Mix
- Two 8 oz packages of cream cheese (softened)
- 8 squares of white chocolate (melted)
- 1/2 tub of whipped topping
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/4 milk
- 1 tsp. McCormick Raspberry Extract
- 7 drops McCormick Red Food Coloring
- Raspberries
Prepare Family Sized Brownie Mix as instructed on box. Let cool.
Melt white chocolate squares in microwave safe bowl. (melt in 30 second increments)
Combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Mix well. Slowly whisk in milk and white chocolate. Add raspberry extract. Fold in whipped topping. Add food coloring. Mix well.
Spread frosting over brownies. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Cut brownies and place a raspberry on each brownie to garnish.
