Colds and coughs are most easily transmitted during the wet, cold months, so it’s no wonder that the phrase  ”something is going around” seems to uttered frequently during the winter and spring.

Vicks Baby Rub, by far. I put it on my boys feet and then socks for bed, it makes for a happy mommy not hearing them cough all night.

I love the Baby Rub. It’s worked wonders on my boys when they have those coughs and there’s no medicine for their ages. Put some on their feet and the next day it’s so improved. I’ve never known why that is though.

Vicks has many great products that have come out over the years, and I have used them. But naming a favorite, I’ll say the classic Vick’s Vapo-Rub. It’s what my mother used when I was a kid, and I used it on my kids.

Vicks vaporub, the round thin discshaped green container convex on the top and concave in the bottomside, had been a integral part of our home all through our childhood. We used to apply it to our chests, throats, head and whereever else it pained liberally. We used to apply it to mosquito or wasp bites. And we used to inhale it to clear congestion in the throat. We werea lot of kids in our house and it was much in demand
We have not been using it much after I left my childhood home, not for any other reason but that coughs and colds do not plague us as much these days

I love the baby’s Vicks as it is the only thing I can give to my son and daughter when they are congested. The smell is always so comforting.
