Wordful Wednesday is like Wordless Wednesday, only WITH words. It’s for those of us that can’t contain the chatter, but in a good way. More info. in my tabber box titled WW on the right. Thank you for playing along!
Jeff decided that it was high time the twins had a pirate room. So, he set to work: Found a few supplies, ordered them and then gave the boys the room of their dreams. All for under $200!
I think they are pretty lucky.
Don’t forget to hop on over to my co-host Amanda’s place (Parenting By Dummies) to see what she has to be Wordful about today!

Love that an anchor stabilizes and that a steering wheel guides! Great symbols as kids go to sleep and awaken! Well done!

Wow! It looks great!
That is cute and classic. Awesome job! I have a nephew whose been obsessed with pirates for four years now. Every summer he comes to visit and I scatter coins throughout the house (left there by the ghost pirates). The coins lead to a treasure hunt map where I’ve hidden little pirate things all around the house. I’m going to have to blog about all the unusual (and inexpensive) pirate things I’ve found over the years and when I do, I’ll be sure and let you know! (Here’s a post I did on making a pirate cake with my sis one summer: http://www.randomneuralfirings.net/totally-random/works-for-me-make-your-own-pirate-cake).

That turned out so amazing! I am inspired to work on my boys room now!
I know I should be totally impressed with the decorations but just can’t quite get over that I can see the floor. It’s been years since I’ve seen one of those.

Very cool pirate room! And even more impressive that your husband did it. My hubby has no decorating sense whatsoever, bless his heart.
