There. I’ve said it.
All of my kids know how to swim. In the deep end.
It’s a beautiful thing.

Ha! Well there is something to be said for that. Now Mommy can rest a little. My daughter can’t swim in the deep end YET, but at least she can go under water and maneuver around in the water. Every little bit helps.

Hooray!!!
That is AWESOME! I really dropped the ball on swimming lessons this summer:-( She can swim…just not at the deep end yet.
You can’t live in Southern California and not have your kids swimming! Mine couldn’t win any races, but they could all keep afloat in the deep end indefinitely! Way to go, Mom!

That is so amazing! I have 4 that can’t still! We took them to swim lessons last summer – but they were more about teaching blowing bubbles and sticking your face in the water than about really swimming…maybe on my 7 off I will take them to the pool and do some Mom teaching.
Congrats!
congrats to your kids!! i can only swim if its not too deep..lol!

I am so jealous. My 3 are not swimmers yet but they have no fear of the water. I took them to the pool yesterday by myself. Yeah, one hour was enough to exhaust me.

Wooohooo! That is awesome! My 2 year old starts swim lessons next week
That is so awesome! Yay you!
Great news for sure.
This summer, my two boys are also swimming on their own, in the deep end, etc. I’m so proud of my 4 year old who last summer was not this confident. Now he is swimming in the deep end, no floaties, touching the bottom of the shallow end of the pool, having so much fun.
The biggest shock of all for me is seeing my 2 year old swim unassisted! It is the cutest thing ever. (With floaties on.) He goes to the deep end, no fear at all! So cute. He wants to be just like his big brother!
That’s great
Such an important sport to learn.

Well you are lucky! I have two out of three but one is only 3 and wears her floaties and doesn’t try to escape so that is good too right?
Congrats! That is 5 more swimmers than I have. Obviously.
That is awesome. Hayden is working on learning this too.

How WONDERFUL!!
How wonderful!!!
I just signed Jack up for (mommy & me) swim lessons today
We’re in the throes of our first swim class now, wherein there is lots of flailing and whining as we try to coordinate our legs and arms. Since I can’t remember not knowing how to swim, I never realized learning was so hard. Good to know my kiddo will eventually get it!

Yay! Congrats! My almost 3 year old son is just now getting brave enough to let go of the side with his floaties on…hope to have him swimming by the end of summer!

Thats a very beautiful thing! Swimming can be such a stressful part of summer!!
Angie! I am so happy for you! Doesn’t that make visits to the pool so much better : )
I know you have one in your back yard, but still, it is just SO great not to have to hold onto little bodies
Yay for your babies : )
that’s awesome! i’m thinking about signing up my boys for classes soon.
i actually should learn how to “really” swim myself, since i do live on an island surrounded by water…lol!
That is wonderful! We are at the swim on our own with one or two noodles point with our three year old and I am hoping that by the end of the summer she will be at least floating on her own. But five swimmers, that is just fabulous!
