Wordful Wednesday-Birthday’s & Birthday Cakes

by Angie on February 9, 2010

*Wordful Wednesday is for those of us that like to showcase a photo(s) but that just can’t seem keep our mouths shut about it (them). If you’d like to play along, post a photo {or more if you are so inclined} on your blog, and let the words roll.

Make me a happy camper by “capturing” my new Seven Clown Circus button AND please, hyperlink to my site www.sevenclowncircus.com. Lastly, be sure to add yourself to Mr. Linky. Thanks for playing along!

January is a BIG Birthday month for us at the Seven Clown Circus.  The three oldest celebrate their birthday so it’s always a crazy time planning and executing family and  friend parties, not to mention delivering class treats.   By the end of the month I’m definitely all partied out.  In fact, when the doctor told me that the twins were due in January I actually did get tears in my eyes.  I didn’t know how I’d do FIVE January birthdays.   They (the twins) took pity on me and came in November.

That’s beside the point though.  The point of my post is this:

I have three children who have birthdays that  fall in January and I have a sister in law that makes said children amazing birthday cakes out of the goodness of her heart.  I’m SO grateful, and my kids are too because my cakes don’t look or taste like hers.

Are you a book worm like me and want to participate in my book exchange?  If so, be sure to sign up here.

I’m also playing along with Way-Back Wednesday this week.

I love how Jeff (I’m guessing it’s Jeff) is holding back Garrett. So funny.
Those are really good looking cakes. I might have to steal the strawberry cake. It is sooo cute.

I would have cried for you if all 5 of your circus had birthdays in the same month. That is financially, physically and emotionally draining. :)

Happy Happy!!

Your January is our January, except I only have to plan one kiddie party. The other two birthdays are my mom’s and my husband’s and we simply have dinner out.

Those are fabulous cakes! I wish I can make cakes like those.

All those cakes would definitely throw a kink in my efforts to be healthy! At least you have enough people to eat most of the cakes, right? When we make birthday cake it is around FOREVER…. or at least until I eat it.
