I was skeptical when Jeff proposed taking the kids to the beach. Not only are we white as ghosts from living in Oregon, but I was concerned about watching all of the kids in the ocean. My pessimism was unfounded though, and we had a GREAT time. Garrett, Grace and John especially loved everything about the beach. Emma was too cold and has negative memories of the water from our St. Martin trip to really enjoy it, and Jacob did not like walking on the sand. Or getting sand dumped on his head. Repeatedly.

Thaose collages are WONDERFUL!!! The beach is WAY more fun with the kids than I thought it could be as well. I’m so glad you had fun!

So glad that your pessimism didn’t come true too…nothing better than a trip to the beach! I’m hoping we get to take the girls to the beach this year too at a toddler-friendly beach. Out trip to Tahoe last year had water that was too cold!

Love the pictures! Love the sunshine. I am so glad your kids soaked up the sun! My girls would not walk on sand at that age either. We have such funny videos of that stage. It was absolute terror!

Ohhh those are great! You may have just inspired me. The kids havent been to the beach on the west coast ever. They played in Cape Cod but they wouldn’t remember it. I must take them.

We went to the beach too, but we went down to Huntington. We always have to do a little ‘Shopping!’

So much fun. I miss the beach. Ryan has never seen the ocean, hopefully someday soon he will.
